WE ALL missed you at Jen and Rich's party. Carl made it home. I didn't know many people except for family. I am sure you will see pictures... eventually. Carl returned to NY today so I am back at work. I have Addison's BD present but have not mailed. Plan to UPS it tomorrow so be looking for it. Tell her I'm sorry its so late. I really enjoy seeing your web page. You are sooooo loving and affirming of Dale, Cole and Addison. I am always blown away by your art projects and fun things you do with the kids. You and Dale are wonderful parents. You are sooooo like your mom. She was quiet, sweet, loving, creative, nurturing. You kids were her life. I so wish your mom could see what a great mom you are with your children. She would be sooooo proud. Take care and hope to talk with you soon. Love you lots AK and UD.

Good timing Julie. I was just having a cry because I was missing my mom and I haven't cried in awhile. We just hit the 1 year anniversary and I can't believe it. I was reading Connor poems from a book I had when I was little and my mom wrote me a note when she was sick and wrote down 20+ poems that I liked from it. Only a mom would remember that almost 30 years later :)

I think that being moms is the best and sometimes most painful way to remember and honor our moms. They were very devoted to us and it sure shows in how devoted and creative you are with your kids. I remember your mom's big craft room and making Xmas ornaments and other things down there. I also remember her weaving on the big loom.

Anyways, thinking of you!
